Dean Keating: The AI Automation Consultant Behind This Directory

Why a directory has a page about its own publisher

Most listings on this site are about someone else's business. This one is about ours. Dean Keating owns and publishes HaylingIsland.co, and he also sells an AI service to small firms. Putting his profile in the AI Automation & AI Consultants category without saying so would be misleading, so every page about him says it plainly, and he is never ranked against anyone.

Where he works from

Horndean is in Hampshire, north of Portsmouth and a few miles north of Havant. From there to the island you cross Langstone Bridge on the A3023, which is the only road on. He has no office on the island. The build is done remotely, and his website says he can come to businesses in Hampshire or nearby when meeting in person helps.

What he builds

An AI agent, in his description, is software that logs into the tools a business already uses and carries a job through. The jobs his website lists are:

- replying to new enquiries within minutes, day or night
- following up every lead until they book or say no
- sending quotes and chasing the ones nobody answered
- booking jobs into the diary
- answering common questions across email, web and WhatsApp
- sorting and routing messages, and escalating to a person when one is needed
- sending updates, confirmations and reminders
- raising invoices and chasing late payments
- copying details from one system to another
- putting together a weekly report

His site describes the service as installed for you, not handed over: he builds it, installs it, trains the team and supports it afterwards. It is not a course, it is not phone answering and it is not a chatbot you subscribe to.

How the first call goes

There are four steps: a free call, an audit of the work worth automating, the build and install, then training and support. He starts with the single task that would make the most difference. The website says you leave the free call with a plan you can use with or without him, and that any price is given after that call with no obligation. There is no price list to quote here.

What his own websites say

On ai-agent.deankeating.com and deankeating.com he describes himself as a Shopify 10K Award winner with more than ten years in marketing, more than a million orders driven through Meta ads, and five years as a professional stand-up comedian before that. He also builds websites for trades and small businesses and does SEO. He has no rated Google business listing, so there is no star score to show you.

How to judge him

Treat this page as the publisher's own account, not a review. Ask two or three other providers the same questions, and ask each to show something they have built for their own business. If you want to start with what he would automate in your firm, the AI consultant guide lists the questions worth putting to anyone.

About this guide

HaylingIsland.co is published by Dean Keating, who also runs the service described here. He is based in Horndean, Hampshire, not on Hayling Island. The setup is done remotely, and his website says he can visit businesses in Hampshire in person. This guide recommends our own service, so compare it with other providers before you decide.
